SYNC 4 Android Issue

I've got a 2025 OB SAS w SYNC 4. I use Android so use Android Auto. When running, Android Auto is highlighted on the 2nd tab along the bottom. Sometimes Android Auto will turn off by itself, then the tab toggles to Phone. When this happens, I will have to manually turn off Google Maps on the phone and restart on the truck screen. Especially annoying when I need my attention on the road. Does anyone know if there is a setting or solution to stop this from happening? Thanks.

Android Auto is high maint make sure it's updated, and apps using are updated.

AA will intentionally get wonky when it's time to update, as will other apps...check to see if setting is to streaming app all the time.

I use a wireless dongle and avoid the Sync4 bluetooth, much more stable with my Android. I tried many and ended up with a non-Chinese one that seems to work flawlessly
