Not sure if I'm alone on this, but when I remote start with vehicle in driveway and iPhone in the house, CarPlay will not automatically engage when I later enter the vehicle with my iPhone. I have found the best way to get CarPlay to work is by the following steps:
Turn Wifi off on iPhone
Force Sync Reset (Hold Power + Radio FF for 10s)
Turn Wifi back on iPhone
A bit of a nuisance, but a solution nonetheless.
