I have a large music collection in my current vehicle a 2010 F150 for longer trips I'll use a 2TB Ipod classic with the AUX port. My truck has Sync but it is pretty cluncky and problematic to use as it is a very early version of Sync.

It has song and data limitations on what it can handle for voice commands (not really important to me) and overall data it can index. Does the Sync 4 have any such limitations and how does it handle Ipods and external hard drive hooked up to the front USB port.

Thanks

I had a USB stick plugged into mine for my large music collection and it was super clunky if you wanted to ever search for an artist/song. Very distracting while trying to drive. So I boycotted the USB stick and just got a larger hard drive on my iPhone and now just run all my music through Apple CarPlay.
