I took delivery last August 2022 and am trying to figure out if my truck is getting updates.

My current 4.0.21297, I would think it would be later than this by now, is this not the same version it probably left the factory with?

My account dashboard shows:

Ford Bronco SYNC Version Question 1680186615490
Ford Bronco SYNC Version Question 1680186761042
Ford Bronco SYNC Version Question 1680186897314


I have talked to the autobot as well as taken it to my local dealer with no luck. The local service department was kind enough to show me what it looked like from their view and sure enough, it is not requiring an update. So, is this normal?

How do you even get to those on the FP app? I just looked and can't find either...
In the web site @ Ford under ”My Vehicles”

Resurrecting this thread looking for help.. I have a 22 Big Bend (Jan 21, 2022 build date). I recieved in July 2022. I've been on 21297 product 253 since day 1. Automatic Updates always on, everyday of the week. 2am. Also have tried it on and off wifi. I called Ford and they said I should be on Sync Version 4.0.23159 product 179

How do I get these updates to start working?

Send me you VIN. I'll look at OTA history. Chances are you'll need to bring it to your dealer, there is probably something preventing OTA updates from working correctly.

I ended up taking mine to the dealer. They said updating the software was not a dealer issue and charged me a couple hundred bucks to update it. I am still uncertain if it is receiving updates via OTA. I at least have full screen CarPlay yay….
