There were a lot more parts to it than I expected and the tolerances are very tight I hear. Once I read that the spare had to come off to install I boxed it up to save for another day. That's asking an awful lot of a lazy person such as myself.
I also was able to install only removing the bottom vent after you remove the tire carrier. Didn't see a need to remove the top one.

I went with the JCR not only to have a table but also a place to mount the Kicker HS8 Sub. I manufactured a bar to slip behind the Molle panel that attaches to the sub L bracket for better stability and to keep the thieves away. My wire bundle is long enough that the table can be lowered with the wires still attached to the sub.

Just FYI though, I wouldn't put a drink on the table with the radio thumping. haha j/k haven't tried this.

I'm probably going JCR, and what I'll do is make a cutting board that is the whole width of the tailgate that I lay on top of the JCR shelf, once it is down. I'll make a template and cut around the support wire and tailgate shape. Then take it off when it's folded up. Sorry for crude drawing. Haha.

Would love to what you work out on that. Definitely like the tables with cutting boards, but $$$.

I liked the looks of this one but alas, I will wait for the Bronco tax to be pulled off.

We went with the Rock-Slide one. Sturdy as hell. No chintzy cables. Most surface area. And real men ain't afraid to drill a couple of holes in their brand new vehicles. :)

I also think the stars look a little silly. But they do have a function and have proven handy in that regard (keeping trash bags in place during unruly winds).

For those with the JCR table, how do those latches work? They look like plastic/rubber - do they seem to be durable? Any concerns about the rubber drying out and cracking or breaking?
I had them on my Victory 4X4 bumper table on my 4Runner as well (Victory 4x4 and JCR are basically the same company). Never had any such issues then or now.

604 shamed me into installing it. Didn't even take 2 hours.

That is 1000% accurate.
Pictures or it didn’t happen.

Glad the peer pressure worked. It makes you a better person… right?

Love that idea. I have the same sub to install and like this idea. Do you have a pick? What type of bar did you attach to the molle? Thanks

I hope not. I have a reputation to maintain.

I installed the L brackets on the Sub as seen here, then I just got a piece of steel bar from the hardware store, painted it black. Some machine bolts and nylon lock nuts.
