Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue...
Picked up my 22 Badlands last Friday and noticed the bottom driver side of the tailgate sits further in by about 1/4" to 3/8". The top of the driver side and the entire passenger side are all flush. The trim under the taillight does not appear to be loose or sitting further out than it should. The dealer had one other Bronco on the lot that was delivered about a month prior that had the exact same issue.
The dealer took photos and suggested that I take it to any body shop that I choose and have it repaired. They dealer would pay for the repair under the Ford warranty. In looking at it a little closer, there is a striker that is mounted to the body that looks like it could be adjusted out to fix the issue. I actually did this on a Jeep Wrangler TJ one time to fix a similar issue.
Any thoughts before I attempt to adjust the striker?
