I don't know if this is the right place for this but the admins can move if needed.

A while ago I was watching YouTube and came across a video about the Tauler Jack.

After watching that video I ordered the jack from Amazon and the kit from Brennan's Garage.

Highest lift height is right at 50 1/4". This is with the leg fully retracted.

With the leg fully collapsed but jack at its highest it is at 40"

With jack all the way down and jack nose at top it is at 25 1/2"

And with the nose at it's lowest point the jack nose is at 9 1/2"

If anyone has questions I would first check out the video. Otherwise, ask away.

I'm going to test it tomorrow and will update with pictures of the Bronco lifted with the Tauler Jack.

I have a fear of the old school hi-lift jack, ever since a member of a different forum lost an eye, when the handle flew up and bashed his face. This trailer jack approach looks interesting.

Very interesting @orion - been using trailer tongue jacks forever and never considered it could be used in this manner. I learned something today - thank you!

Thanks for the right up. Looks great!
Do you have link to the one you ordered? I see several, would hate to do all this work on a crappy one.

Ok thanks. I gathered from his site that he recommends that Jack with the 2.25 kit, but on one site it said that one was 2.5" wide. Could be incorrect I assume. Did you do the 2.25 or 2.50?

Just want to order the correct jack.

2.25 from my receipt and that's the jack from my Amazon order history.
