This is one of the benefits of having not been produced for so long; the whole thing could be designed from the ground up, with some nods to history sure but not needing to maintain consistency with the previous 25 years of iteration

Itā€™s obvious none of you has ever been to the drive in movies! This is the single best feature on my 72 bronco. Top off and windshield down. Ainā€™t nothing else like it. Not to mention all the ā€œnice rigā€ comments when we fold that sucker down. Itā€™s only two hand bolts if the top is already off.

I hit a bird last week in my JK doing 60 mph. BANG! Never saw it coming. Only explanation to the unanticipated impact was a singular feather stuck to the windshield.

Yeah. Add other road debris, bugs & branchesā€¦. no thanks. I donā€™t plan to ever fold it down. IMPO the Bronco team chose wisely in this endeavor.

Yeah, Iā€™m not interested in wearing goggles as I drive. The fold down windshield is the lowest of my wishes. I like the windshield just as it is.

Not interested but thank god Ford didnā€™t do this. The hinges for the window to fold down would probably be a commodity constraint only available to dealers for mannequins.

I've done a bunch of crawling with the windscreen down in jeeps. It's pretty nice in good conditions. I don't think it's really meant for going very fast. Haha. Do you really think you'd drive on a highway with a windscreen down? You're crazy. Makes me think you've never been off road before.

been off-lots here in NV and I never seen a jeep with the windshield down like someone said if you and behind the first jeep you get dust in your face and maybe a rock or even horse crap.
