Lost some more bits tonight>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I believe this is the shot you were looking for @Aztec1382

One with a tape measure, if it helps. The end of the tape is on the pipe. The front of that pad is 2 3/8 off the pipe.

Some shots of the "bits" missing. And the clearance I have now.

I hade to see if it was any better now with the bumper on.

In this pic I got the winch plate up to the bottom of the bumpers "pocket".

Ford Bronco The "Baus" Bronc IMG_0544.JPG

Still tucked in nice.

Ford Bronco The "Baus" Bronc IMG_0547.JPG

You really have to lean to start to see the winch.

Ford Bronco The "Baus" Bronc IMG_0546.JPG

Messed around some more and managed to get the plate up to damn near the bottom of the frame and still not hit underside of the top of the bumper. 😁 I was losing light and had to go pick up my son from soccer practice. Hence the flash on the second. You can also see it is not as high up as it is on the opposite side. The surface I am working off of is not level. When I get it in the garage to finalize the template it will be better.

I'll be making some frame bracket templates starting tomorrow so stay tuned. If ya'll need anymore shots let me know. 😁

Just updated post #3 !!!!!!! 😁

Got my front bumper installed and as usual ran into some issues, but nothing the cut off wheel couldn't handle. ;)

Afterwards I took it for a spin and found something a bit more appropriate than a curb to get some "action" shots.

Kinda "dorky" looking without a winch in there, but I'm working on that, hang in there.

curious if you still like this bumper after having it for a bit, been looking to add something similar, looks closest to the look I have in mind. I had bought a winch mount that looks like would work with this since the shackle mounts look basically the same as a modular OE style. I did modify a stock OE plastic one to fit with the winch bracket and bull bar, but this looks like it should give slightly more protection that the light plastic ones

Yes, like it very much. It is very similar to the OEM mod bumper. Those winch mounts that go to the shackle mounts will work good as this bumper has some beefy reinforcements. I found Black Horse Off Road is another company that offers a similar bumper.

Hard to believe this has been 3 months ago. My how time flies. I have to get back on the Bronco projects before the snow flies. ;)

Very interested in your winch location idea as I decided to get this Baja style bumper instead from Reaper Offroad.

There looks to be the perfect location for the fairlead to sit right above the bottom bar if the intercooler moved north like yours.

Yes, that does appear to be more than adequate space. My winch/fairlead/winch plate needs almost 8", top to bottom. Good candidate.

If I had to do mine over I would invert the winch so it bolts to the top of the bumper. This way the fairlead is higher and probably easier to access the free spool from below.

That's a good idea, never thought of that.
