Zach with Granger posted this after the official news was sent out today - Hopefully, this applies to SAC as well.

"Ford with their recent changes are trying to fulfill the outstanding reservations and orders they have in the system. They are going to allow dealers to "pull ahead" allocation to fulfill demand of their customers. They are also incentivizing customers to switch from high demand items that they have a production capacity shortfall, to orders that they are able to build.

Dealer allocation should not be a restriction in this upcoming scheduling cycle. Ford is looking to only fill RETAIL demand and not dealer stock. So this should go a long ways to fill order for those who have been waiting a long time for their order. They are taking a month to do their best to clear out the existing orders. We have approximately 475 retail orders that qualify and have been submitted through Ford's COVP process. All of these could potentially get scheduled if they don't have a restriction on them."

The below message was sent to all Bronco Reservation Holders today.

Current Raptor, Everglades and Heritage customers, ignore this
message. Really, ignore it. Seriously. Others can't switch to those
models and escape the three deadly sins. Ford knows who has what at
this time, making a switch to those other models could get you
excluded or at the very least, throw off the balance of supplies for
the entire list, taking us back to a similar situation where supplies
become limited or the package becomes limited.

I was just told by my Ford Rep that 2 door customers will receive the
$2500 incentive if they drop Lux and Sasquatch. Again, this doesn't
mean that everyone can switch to a 2 door and get MIC, this is based
on current supply numbers. Switching to a 2 door could get you
excluded.

Second, if you're a WildTrak customer and you do not change to
another package without Lux, Sasquatch or MIC, you're taking a chance
of not getting a 2023 and possibly losing Price Protection for 2024
models (per Ford). If you don't switch your other package Bronco, ie.
OBX, Badlands, etc. down from Lux, remove Sasquatch and MIC, you could
lose your price protection going into 2024.

If the only thing you want to do is remove the three-deadly-sins from
your order (two-sins for 2 door customers), email me.

If you're switching from a 2d to 4d, if you're switching from a
WildTrak to another package, if you want to make an engine change or
switch from one package to another (such as Badlands to OBX), call me.

The more folks that switch from a WT to something else (without
Lux/Sasquatch/MIC) or any package with Lux/Sasquatch/MIC to High, no
Sasquatch, Softtop, the higher our allocation is supposed to go (per
Ford). If everyone switches, we could theoretically fulfill all
reservations in 2023.

Please read Ford's email carefully, if you want to cancel your order
and take advantage of their Option 2, feel free to email me stating
your intent to cancel and remit your current mailing address in case
our accounting department needs to mail you a reservation deposit
refund.

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

Dear Bronco Customer,

Although we are doing everything we can to continue manufacturing Ford
Bronco® SUVs exactly as ordered, global supply chain shortages and
unprecedented demand have impacted our ability to produce your Bronco.

To give your Bronco the best chance at being produced in the 2023
model year, contact your dealer and update your order to a buildable
configuration as soon as possible. Please note that taking no action
puts you at risk of not receiving your Bronco.

To thank you for your patience, you will be eligible for the 23MY
Bronco Order Modification Private Offer Program. You will receive
$2,500 toward the purchase or lease of your Bronco if:

Your order is a Wildtrak series and you change to a Big Bend, Outer
Banks, or Badlands series without a Molded-In Color Hardtop, Sasquatch
Package, or Lux Package*

Your order has any of these options—Molded-In Color Hardtop, Sasquatch
Package, or Lux Package—and you remove all of them from your current
vehicle order

Alternatively, you can also receive the $2,500 incentive (exclusions
apply**) if you cancel your Bronco order and purchase or lease an
in-stock 2022/2023 Ford or order a 2023 Ford vehicle for purchase or
lease.

You also have the option to cancel your order and have your deposit refunded.

You have until March 7th to change your order and be eligible for the
23MY Bronco Order Modification Private Offer Program. However, the
sooner you make the change, the better chance you will have for it to
be scheduled in 2023.

What Happens if You Don’t Take One of These Actions?

If you take no action and leave your order as is, and your Bronco
cannot be delivered as a 2023 model year, your order will be canceled.
You will then need to place a 2024 model year order at the 2024 model
year pricing.

For additional information and details, visit our FAQs.

We appreciate your business and patience and will continue to do
everything we can to get you behind the wheel of your new Bronco.

Thanks for the info. Of course I dropped a month or so ago from Lux to High (and tow) in hopes of getting built. Ugh, there goes $2,500 I'm sure...

Tow doesn't seem to mentioned anywhere. Think if we add tow back on we might still stand a chance of being built or best to leave it alone?

Tow is still showing as a constraint in the ordering system, even though they don't mention it in these most recent communications.

this allocation debit thing is a double edged sword. You (SAC) can get a much larger chunk of customers built this year, but the future is bleak because you lose those extra numbers the following year. So for example, there were ~130 some orders left unscheduled in the latest list. If SACs annual allocation, for example, is 60...and 120 get built this year, then SAC doesnt get any broncos in 2024, and the 10 remaining order holders have to wait to 2025 to get scheduled (with SAC only getting 50 allocations).
Is this right John? @StephensAutoCenter
Or, if 120 broncos get built this year, your annual allocation increases to 120 and next year you get 60 debited so only 60 allocation again for the year?

I have not been made aware of a "debit" situation for 2024. That was not mentioned on the conference call I attended last Friday.

@StephensAutoCenter
two questions:

if we take no action and the reserved bronco is not delivered,
do we get our deposit back?

or

will SAC offer similar pricing if we have to reorder for MY24+?

Deposits and reservation fees will be refunded, either by us or Ford, depending on how Ford handles that. We have to wait and see how Ford will handle it at that time before we can issue refunds (currently waiting to see how they handle the post Nov 21 orders that did not choose to go from "99" to an active order).

As for pricing, our offer was for the reservation program only. We may decide to make another offer when the time comes that would be beneficial to customers. That will be based on anticipated allocation.

For the several mid-November production week folks (im-)patiently waiting for their Broncos to leave MAP, I just refreshed the 'official' tracker page for the 1200th time this Friday afternoon and it says my Bronco has shipped. Based on @cnesbit 's experience earlier this week, it probably means the truck arrived already. :ROFLMAO: Backdoor link is still not updated and no email from Ford yet. Hope springs eternal.

Hell yeah!

Also I expect to get my assembly line picture sometime in July, assuming that they didn't have any camera constraints, supply chain issues with film, etc.

Sadly I've got to get mine shipped to me due to a variety of timing circumstances, which is a bummer for sure, but it'll be here soon. Held out hope I could make the trip out there but it is what it is. Sorry I can't snap some photos!
