Where is the best place to source both complete tie rods for trail spares? Junk yard? Part Stores?
I have heard Ranger Tie Rods are the same? True or false?

The inner rods are the same part. The outers are different. Most people have only spare inner, since it is the part that bends/breaks.Thank you...my local Ford dealer said the left and right were different part numbers...which had different prices as well....but we know how that is I guess.
Hoss 2. Wildtrak hoss 3 rods also fit (must replace inner, outer, and nut), but the boot is not an exact fit. Both can bend at the same time in some cases.I have a Badlands Sasquatch. Will that Hoss fit?
And, if both sides are the same, wouldn't one be sufficient? What are the chances you'd snap both on one trip?
I am waiting on some FabTech tie rods..just not sure when they will show up.I upgraded to the icon tie rods and keep my oem for potential repairs
Makes sense... my Icons came in less than a week. Hopefully your FabTech show up soonI am waiting on some FabTech tie rods..just not sure when they will show up.
Most of the ones I have seen break - snap or bend at the treads where the inner and outter connect. Figured having both sides inner and outter cant hurt. The inner rods are the same part. The outers are different. Most people have only spare inner, since it is the part that bends/breaks.
Pretty annoyed I bought the wrong ones. Guess I shoulda checked first! The inner rods are the same part. The outers are different. Most people have only spare inner, since it is the part that bends/breaks.
At $70 for oem or $20 for aftermarket it's worth it just to buy new.I called some junk yards here in Tucson, I was shocked to hear no junkyards in Arizona currently have a Bronco on hand....at least none that use the shared system most of the larger ones use.
