I'm currently running 35s (315/70R17) BFGoodrich tires, but I'm looking to try something different. I was considering the Falken Wildpeaks, but it looks like they’re not available in my size. I don’t do much off-roading and prefer something more geared toward everyday driving—comfortable and quiet, rather than rough and noisy.

Any tire recommendations?

@Qasimateen , as pointed out the Wildpeaks should be available to you. However, they’re much more in the direction of rough and tumble. Others can speak to how much louder they would be then your stock Goodyear, but I know they would be heavier which you may notice in response and gas mileage.

You might want look for a C rated tire that is closer to your use case.

If you want all terrain the Toyo AT’s are awesome. Hell all of Toyo’s line is amazing I put 86,000 on a set of the original Toyo RT’s on my F150, they still had decent tread too was just starting to dry rot after being 6.5 years old. Replaced them with the new Toyo RT Pro and they are phenomenal so far, crazy quiet for how aggressive they are. Can’t wait to swap the crap Goodyears off the new bronco for some Toyos lol

Agree with above. I had Falken AT3's on my Wrangler, but the new AT4's are SO damn heavy (like 70 lb/tire) I went with the Toyo AT3's and have been really happy with them so far. Great on road, good in rain, good in sand/rock, and look 'aggressive' enough.

A Kenda Klever AT is available in C rating. Undervalued and quiet. I've run the AT, RT and MT2 and they have all been great. They also put me on the inside back cover of their new catalog so I may be biased

They have this retro digital vibe - Tron is what I think of, they would be home on a cyber truck :)

Didi you ever have any balancing issues?

No I have never had issues on any of the 3 sets I've used. Kenda only elevated their game after Cooper sold them off and they built their own R&D Center.

I see you are in Flagstaff so I assume you've had these in the snow a lot. Have always been curious about Kenda and I see that the red letter looks like it is available in the Raptor 37x12.5R17 size in D load.

How's the winter traction?

I'm planning on swapping my BFG KO2 out within the next 6 to 12 months and have been leaning towards the new Toyo Open Country RT Pro. This tire is really interesting though.

There are a lot of great tire reviews on this site. It really depends on how they will be used. Most want the look of offroad without the mannerisms.

I put 35x11.50x17 Toyo AT3 on mine. I am extremely pleased with their performance so far. The on road manners of these tires areas good as anything I have run on eight different rigs over the last few decades.

In the more popular 35x12.50x17 size, this tire is offered in 3 versions, one C and two E service rating, weighing from 59 to 72 pounds.

Any buyer should verify which they are ordering/installing.
