Before you wave the green flag and start buying new windows... may want to give it time for these 2023 soft top windows to break in a bit.

@Garemlin's post suggests they may not be as big of an improvement as everyone is hoping. Some definitely look a LOT better from the factory, but if they become wavy after the summer sun hits them... or after you use the rear kickstand feature a few times... probably not worth the cost.

BUT, should be able to buy them now at your dealer's parts counter if you wanted to drop several hundred dollars on them. If you do, let us know how they turn out.

Does your top have this clip now??? If not then, I don't know if you would be able to buy just the windows if this is attached to the top itself. The way the OP said "check it out" made me think something is different there.

Hate to break it to you, but a lot of the 2022’s have the same windows as the 23’s.

Just because a few have looked better, doesn’t mean they all will or that they will remain that way. There are plenty of 22’s with the newest part number that are very wavy.

The windows were changed 4/13/22 (according to the parts catalog) to the newest part number. 2023’s still have the same ones as those.

My wife’s 22 has the clips like your picture on a little flap. My ‘21 does not. Same wave on both styles.

The two I've got checked are the most current service parts that retro back to '21. The new number went into production vehicles starting 4/13/22. Specifically "tinted" style, non tinted are still the old numbers.

Rear clear went to -BB, tinted went to -DB. -DB has a list price of about $288.27.

i test drove a 23 soft top the other day and the windows looked just fine. I could see out the rear without any issues. It was not wavey at all.

Rear has never been an issue. It’s the sides.

Buy them? Ford should exchange them for free, for screwing up such a basic element. Especially given the number of issues in general with both hard and soft tops.

I would be happy with solid canvas sides. The rear side windows serve no purpose.

One reason the do not stay tight is they clip to a soft tip which gives to pull of side windows.
Anyone have a set for sale. I would like to have all the plastic parts removed and applied to a canvas panel. Save my clear ones.
