Tongue weight for a big bend 4 door 2,3 engine

I’m just wondering what the suggested tongue wt for a single axle boat trailer would be. Is there a minimum or maximum? Anyone have any experience with this? I’ll be below the recommended towing wt.

Tongue weight should be between 10 to 15 % of what is being towed no matter the engine etc. If your vehicle is rated to tow 3500 pounds then as long as you do not exceed that the tongue weight will be fine.
