That would require some pretty large trail sites for even the smallest ditch light... I would think it might interfere with your ability to actually see the trail. I think Mabett?? has a version with "marker" lights but ditch lights are another animal. Maybe you are expecting less from your ditch lights than I am though.I would like to see a trail sight alteration that would work as ditch lights.
Yeah probably not as bright, and hoping to get a lot from a single row of leds. That would require some pretty large trail sites for even the smallest ditch light... You can get a lot from just a couple of diodes... problem is that that powerful of diode requires quite a bit of infrastructure to operate with dependability. That is what will take up your space. You can get some rather small ditch lights though that will mount to your A pillar and do a pretty good job for you. I just picked up some Black Oak spreader lights I am going to try out. They are actually rather small, over 3000 lumens and have a claimed 120 degree dispersion..... That should be able to light up everything on either side of me quite well, and like I said... They are relatively small.Yeah probably not as bright, and hoping to get a lot from a single row of leds.
DeeZee makes a bracket that attaches to the trail sight. With that you can attach a small pod light.I would like to see a trail sight alteration that would work as ditch lights.

I'm one in the same as your other quoted response in the other thread. You would have to direct your question to DeeZee. I'm just passing along the information that I thought was relevant to the question. So HOW where the cables routed for this light? I have a mount already buy there is no opening made for wiring at this spot. I figured drilling a hole through the trail sight some how?
But my dilemma is how to route the wire to get it under the hood!
