Here are some photos of the process. B6G has been a great resource so it only feels right to share.

It was a one man job for me took most of the day taking my time. Used an extension pole to lift up my Turn Offroad hard top for the pax rax bracket install. I decided to take off the hard top brackets to ensure my padding successfully made it to the other side around the lip. This hardtop was used so it was already built that’s why I put it on as a whole unit. Being alone I had to put two furniture blankets to slide it on. From there it was a pretty straight forward install!

Are you able to take the front roof panel off with that rack?

i mounted a prinsu pro rack to mine, it fits well enough, only one of my brackets had a little offset - likely my issue more than the top.

The rack extend beyond the top maybe an inch and a half. Not much. The glass doesn’t even come close to contacting it. I’ll get a side profile shot for you tomorrow.

How were you able to mount your rtt so tight/close to the roof rack?

Here are some pics of my hardtop with modified trail rax roof rack. I understand this voids all my warranties so I do not recommend anyone do this. I primarily use my rack for canoes and kayaks and wanted to be able to take off the targa top easily and store it on the rack. The back is chopped off so it doesn't overhang the slant back. I chopped off the rack just behind the B pillar and modified the front mounts to create a support. The base and support were all made from the front section I chopped off. The base sits on 1/4" rubber pads and the bolts go all the way through the top to a backer plate similar to the rear rack mounts. No squeeks, rattles or leaks. I secured the top with aftermarket thumb screws. I had to remove the top bar on teh screws for the two front mounts under the targa because they were too tall. I couldn't get them tight enough by hand so I used an allen wrench to tighten. I used some large silicor rubber tubing as edge protection to store and strap down the tara on the rack. So much quieter than my soft top even with the roof rack. I'll post a you tube video soon if you want to see more details.

No problem. Oddly enough, I never could find a picture of a Turn roof rack on a Turn top. All of the photos I ever found of their rack was on the MIC top. If this RTT thing doesn't stick, I may convert to a half rack to regain the ability to remove the targa.
I, too, found it virtually impossible to find a Turn Roof Rack on a Turn Top! I plan to purchase a Turn Top in September and was in the market for a complimentary yet functional roof rack. I thought it was somewhat strange that Turn only shows its Tops installed on factory MIC roofs when they are a direct competitor to the MIC roofs. I understand that the incentive is to go after the larger demographic (MIC roofs owners) but they should at least show us ALL the possibilities available with their own products!
