Finally got my truck (day 1 reservation, ice mountain, yada, yada)..and I almost couldn't believe that this is an ok look from ford. Really wish they put somekind of plastic trim here. Maybe someone will come up with something. Maybe nit picking here, but just looks unfinished and sloppy for something from the factory

They make a piece that covers the pinch welds.

uh, no, I haven't and I'm not fretting over it as much as feel like a $2 part would have addressed what just looks odd to me from a factory release

I got the Trail Armor Rock Guards from Ford. Look nice and put them on by myself.

JCR pinch weld covers, I have them on mine and it's a way better look.

Second day I had my Bronco I parked in the same lot as a rusted out late 90s Taurus that was missing it's side skirt/faring.......pinch welds for days.

Made me feel a lot better. Then I put rock rails on and I don't see them at all.

You can paint them black, you can buy pinch weld covers that go on with 3M double sided tape.

Thanks to B6G Forum! I ordered the JCR Offroad Pinch weld covers, came fast ands complete, and it's a good fix. The covers conceal without trapping moisture (PNW Vehicle), or adding mass around the bottom of the vehicle (i've removed more than one damaged step over the years). The rock rails seem nice, and now I can't remember why I didn't want them when I ordered. Probably price?

But, I'm reiterating the support for JCR covers if you need the look:
