Universal wiring harness.

I bought two LP4s for a bumper mount. The set came with a universal wiring harness as I didn’t know to order the upfitter harness. Does anyone know if I can just cut off the relay, switch, and just hook up to aux wire and ground? No clue what I’m doing, but stubborn enough to try.
