Upgrading to the "signature" LED headlights on Base Bronco?

Hey guys. So I have a base model, and I want to upgrade to the "signature" LED. I see a bunch of lights on EBay that have damaged housings but work otherwise. My question is, has anyone taken or used the housing of the base lights to mount the signature LEDs?
