Ford Bronco Used Market Twilight Zone 625899F9-3C32-49A1-B6AC-B7016549C3F6

Here's a Used 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser listed for $84,900 on Autotrader http://atcm.co/VDPTXTSHRE/22cf3b78
Okay the used market is seriously crazy right now. Case in point $84k for this FJ. I know a lot of you are seeing this out there too. My wife just traded in her Kia Telluride for what she paid after two years of driving. I wonder when this will abate.

Would be interesting to see whether it actually sells. It does only have 900ish miles and its a manual, which is rare. Still, $85K is insane. My 2014 FJ TTUE has 60k miles and is a manual; I think it's worth $45k which is more than what I paid new (also insane). A local used dealer in SLC has two: https://www.redrockmotors.net/newandusedcars?clearall=1

If I had our Bronco I would be unloading our 2007 FJ Cruiser for $15-20k with 150k miles in a second. We paid $29.5k for new in March of 2006... just crazy

Donā€™t you dare. FJs are catching a huge premium even before this nonsense. You can pretty much name your price.

My problem with all this crazy used car values is that it needs to hold out until after my Bronco is ready. Nothing like being offered more than your car is worth, to boost the new car sales numbers. IF you can build them.

Depending when my Bronco becomes real and if the market is still crazy I may trade in my ā€˜20 Stang. Would love down the road to find a well maintained GT350

I jest- it's my wife's and she would kill me if I sold it. We have owned it from the 1st day they were available in the US. We bought it in Colorado, have driven it all the way to Maine, moved to Kirkland and this week we are in Southern California. Replaced the alternator, tires, brakes and shocks... that's it. It's crazy reliable. It is not family friendly with twin almost teenagers.
