Sell it locally before you go. You'll get more for it than trading it in. Last ri.e I checked a plane ticket to Des Moines was about $100.
Second that, or Carmax.

Then I loose $1600 tax savings. So selling it now has to be for more than $1600 offered as trade in.
Do the tax savings with trade in work the same in other states? I am sure you could sell it for more than trade in value. They usually only give you KBB fair value for trade anyways.

I'm also in Summerlin and had my reservation at Gaudin. Made the switch to Granger last week.
I’m in the Gardens at Summerlin town center an DI. I contacted Granger an thinking about fly too. Did you have to cancel Gaudin or simply just go to granger to make the switch.

thinking out loud...( or is it typing out loud?)
it's sad that there isn't more interest in a Las Vegas Ford dealer to offer a plan like Grainger's:
1) great airport to fly into, with many options as to flight and times ( post C-19 of course)
2) Plenty of hotels...an ambitious dealer could even work out a discount room rate ( based on his number of units sold/allocated)
3) It's the DESERT...plenty of places for planned off road activities ( depending on time of year as it does get HOT out here come summer)

as a life long motorcyclist...I have seen M/C dealers offer a fly and buy programs on new models all over the country with successful out comes, and repeat customers when the next new model comes out....

maybe it's the economy out here(unemployment is high) ...or the dealers don't want to bother with all the logistics ( it takes some "thinking out of the box" and hard work to make it successful)....and this "reservation/ordering on line program" may not be as "solid" on the dealers side to make them feel all warm and fuzzy....'nuff said

Good afternoon and thank you for being a reservation holder for a new 2021 Ford Bronco at Team Ford Lincoln! I wanted to bring you up to speed on the current status of the 2 and 4 door Bronco timeline along with some suggestions so you can be prepared as we are getting much closer to the anticipated order banks opening to convert your reservations to actual orders.
1. The Build and Price feature on the Ford website is expected to go live in October, 2020. Once the Build and Price is available, Team's recommendation to you is that you spend some time on the Ford.comwebsite configuring your new Bronco so you have a good idea of which options you will be selecting and their availability and cost. This is a great time as well to look at different exterior and interior color combinations as well as options and packages. You can also print your Build and Price vehicles for reference when its time to order your vehicle. Keep in mind, even though you may have reserved a Badlands Bronco for example, you will still be able to change to other Bronco models as well as from 2 to 4 door and vice versa. The only Bronco vehicle that is currently restricted is the First Edition model. You must be a reservation holder for a First Edition to receive a First Edition order allocation.
2. The Order Bank is expected to open in December 2020. This is when you should be completely ready to move forward with placing your actual vehicle order with Team Ford Lincoln. Final color choices and options must be selected at that time and the order will be placed. Team Ford Lincoln will be reaching out to remind reservation holders in late November of the upcoming order bank opening. Dealership allocations for 2021 Bronco are based on reservations being converted to orders. Ford Motor Company will be doing its best to build the all new Ford Bronco in the order they were reserved at the dealership. It is imperative that you get your reservation converted to an order as soon as possible so that your place in the reservation list is not passed over waiting for your build information and order confirmation.
3. As you may have read in national automotive publications, demand for 2021 Ford Bronco is far outpacing supply nationally. Ford has committed to being completely transparent in the Order to Delivery process. Once your order is placed, you can expect relevant updates from Ford and Team Ford Lincoln about your vehicle along the way. Because of this, and the fact that the 2021 model year Bronco is expected to be short to due production timing, some customers may in fact receive a 2022 model year vehicle. Again, it is imperative to get your order placed in December when the order bank opens so Team Ford Lincoln receives as many Bronco allocations as possible to fulfill our reservation holder lists.
Thank you for your continued interest in the all new Ford Bronco! Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team of Bronco Specialists.

I got the same email. I've never even had my reservation with them. Mine was at Gaudin. I spoke to Team over the phone twice though.
