Where exactly is this located at?

Underneath the rear cargo floor.

There are two compartments. One for the spare tire Jack and tools, and one that is a plastic tub like storage compartment. From photos I didn’t think it was huge but in person it seems a bit bigger and more usable.

That is under the floor in the back of a 4 door. There is also a compartment next to it that is closer to the tailgate that holds the scissor jack.

Thanks ZackDanger! It is very close. There is a small tab that intrudes into the middle of the space on the four door compartment. I like the look of this one better. It allows for more options.

Its worth noting that the picture of the 2-door I posted came from a very early preproduction... so not sure if the difference you noticed stuck... but either way, the overall size seems to be shared across both door platforms.
