Absolute awesome tire soo far, I haven't had them off road yet but I am not worried they will destroy the KO2s and I will no longer have slipping issues. The MTs were also cheaper then graplers or recons and carry a 50k warranty along with peak rating if you need that. How’s the on road feel of the Baja Boss’?
Right now, after more research, think I want a hybrid tire, so I’ve moved on from BFG K02 and KM3, since I don’t need those really, and now on to the Baja Boss or the Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
Don‘t think I could go wrong with either, but since you have them, thought I’d ask.
Do you need one of these to protect taillights in a stock configuration (factory wheel/tire)?9/06/23.
Installed tailgate limiter by @Mountains2Metal. Mostly protecting these expensive taillights specially if you open the door on a passenger side slope.
Nice! Those frame mounted, yeah?
no still chassis mounted but the brackets are very stout.Nice! Those frame mounted, yeah?
I’m ”looking at the RCI” with a similar design that are frame mounted, but they’re $1200, which is why I haven’t purchased yet either.no still chassis mounted but the brackets are very stout.
I don't but I did do measurements before all over the place, the most accurate was the bottom of the hitch to ground and top of front bumper. The front obliviously moved big time and wasn't expecting it that much but the math makes sense. With all the side pics I have you can see the flare gap change big time, went from 6.5 to about 8.5-8 5/8. Just started driving it today so I will recheck after some miles to make sure its all settled.Look great. Do you happen to have the before and after shot of the bubble level?
