Wait Times for 2023 Bronco Builds

I getting ready to celebrate two years since I reserved a bronco - and still no information - other than they accepted my 21 to 22 conversion. If I see any 2023s driving around before I get my 2022 - I am going to be very cross - even if they are four doors with ragtops.

Ford essentially has two assembly lines.

One for squish tops, one for MIC tops. Now in reality they don't, but functionally they do.

Ford can only build about 70% of broncos as hard tops, and so 30% have to be the softies. However, only about 12% of orders were soft, and who knows what percent is left.

So 4 months (+3 before production starts) is probably not crazy for a 4-door soft top. I'd guess a year to 14 months for a hard top.

A bunch of hard tops/2-doors are scheduled for later this month, and most of those were reserved 16+ months ago.

I am considering ordering a 2023 Bronco. I've talked to a few dealerships that they're opening the bank in August. I asked them what the turn around times are looking like and two different dealerships said 4-6 months to delivery. Is that what you guys are hearing? When I picked up my Bronco in February I asked them that same question and they said they are looking like 4 years. Not sure if something changed, or they're catching up on orders.

What have you all heard about the 2023 models?

It’s a guess on the dealerships part. There’s now way they can know for sure. A lot will change between now and late December.

I would imagine about 3 business days if they really have their stuff together for MY23.

MY21 and MY22 were pretty bad, but I think they fixed all the problems with manufacturing over the past few weeks.
