Anybody thinking about installing sound deadening material under the washout floor? Just curious if anyone has considered this as I hear the washout interior has more road noise.

Thanks!

I wouldn't. There was a video the other day of a guy cleaning out his washout interior after getting his bronco stuck in a deep mud hole. The mud actually seeped up into the bronco and was trapped between the metal flooring and the rubberized layer of flooring. He had to pry up the flooring and even tear some of it to get in there and dry it up. If you put sound deadening material underneath the rubberized flooring, it could trap and contain water, becoming very smelly and moldy of it gets wet. Plus the absolute pita it would be to clean and dry it.
