Soft top owners post

This was a combo of the cheapest amazon bikini top, sound deadening 12x12 panels, fabric from hobby lobby, fabric tape and staple gun lol. It honestly made a HUGE difference and is as quiet as a factory hard top, if not slightly quieter. Three stacked layers in the middle and two on the sides so it still seals good and doesn’t let water in. I wish I would’ve done this sooner

Very interesting workaround. I wonder if this would work with the rampage soft top. I have a two door and really want a soft top but the reviews mostly say the wind noise is terrible. This might work.

As long as there is room to stack at least two of these foam pads it should work. This is mainly for really long road trips. It comes out in 2 seconds with the top off so it’s easy to store in the room or wherever we are staying.

I think you and the guy that put plastic sheeting on the tubular doors should open a company together. Call it "Skid Row Accessories" or something like that. Maybe partner up with "Turn" or some big name like that before it takes off. You need to act fast though,.....these "big" name companies are monitoring boards like this one. "Couple" grand investment will secure the patent though.

that insert I made comes out in 5 seconds after opening the top. It’s going to be there 99% of the time. If I’m going to the beach or trails where I plan on opening the top I’ll leave it at home or at the room.

it doesn’t have any leaks, i tested a pressure washer on it and when i had three stacked high on the outside rows it let a little water in. When I down sized the sides to two high there was no water intrusion

Looks pretty much like the dirty dog liner done DIY. I highly recommended that for any soft top owner. I’m only 30 but being in a steel mill I’m losing my hearing and it sure isn’t getting better and i could tell a difference.

I reached out to them to get an eta on when the headliner was going to be back in stock multiple times and never heard back. They have now pulled it from the site so I think it’s long gone. This worked out awesome though

I just switched to a hard top, and I have Dirty Dog headliner for sale if anyone wants one.

EDIT: The headliner is sold!

Before I switched to a hard top I cut a foam mattress topper to fit between my JTop and the soft top. Made a world of difference in road noise! I think it was 3” foam…
