Anyone else experienced this? - do you think it will evaporate, or should I be reporting this to my dealer, while it’s still under warranty. Maybe they can take the cap/light off and give it a wipe, or replace the taillight?

Update: Added some more photos - but will bring to my dealer to see what they have to say/can do.

That is right at the tipping point between acceptable moisture/vapor and warrantable leak. Ford says vapor (cloudy to what your pics show) is normal and should dissipate. If you have droplets, which is what you're on the verge of water pooled in the housing, absent alteration or damage, it is warrantable. They used to have a pictoral job aid showing what was covered or not covered but they hid them in PTS they're almost impossible to find. The dealer will most definitely have to see it in person, while the water is present, to verify coverage.

These things are fairly expensive so they'll want to make sure it's definitely in the covered category so Ford doesn't charge the repair back if they call the part back for inspection. If you do decide to remove the housing, which can be a bitch, check the housing vent to make sure it's not plugged. These things should be able to breathe and both the problem and solution.

I think this is only with the LED lights, they need ventilation unlike the old traditional style, which is what I have. If they are vented, most likely, it will get chaulked up as poor design. Would need a lot more people complaining for it to become a recall.

This is good to know. I have many droplets in my rear lights after a rainstorm. I will take this in when we get the next big deluge and the droplets show up again.

Hey there, because I live in Canada - I don’t think you guys can help me.

Your Ford account posted and said the same thing about some blemish on my leather seats - and suggested I connect with Ford Canada, which I did - but Ford Canada is a bit less helpful.. they just directed me to work it out with my dealer.

That said, I suppose I will report this to my dealer shortly.
If you think there’s any use in sending you my Vin etc and current mileage, I can happily do so - but again.. in Canada

Pull off the light and see if water pours out. On older vehicle it would show up similar to that and when I took off taillight it poured at least 1/3 of a liter out.
