Weather app question

I’ve searched but can’t find answer… I have the smaller screen and base tech package so it doesn’t have nav tab or weather via nav…. It shows temp in upper right corner of Home Screen. is there a way for me to add my weather app to my apps in car? When I synced for car play it pulled a few random apps but not the weather one. one of the apps it did pull was the Dunkin app (so odd) …. How do I customize? When I click on the connected app tab it says it’s unavailable so I’m confused. Thanks for help
