What accessory would go here?

2022 WT -Tried 1/4 " bolts + they seem to fit the accessory mount.Is that what works for mounting accessories [or is a metric bolt needed-1/4" bolt seems like a good fit but have just hand tightened as a test] Looking to mount a GoPro 13 + don't want to ding the threads. Have looked at manual + found no info.

I believe it's 1/4 - 20 bolt. Not metric

Just had a pretty irritating realization this morning. The USB ports on the top of the dash don’t connect to Sync. They are nothing but Power. What a huge swing and a miss for Ford.

What accessories use this threaded bung on the center dash? I’m guessing some type of phone holder.

Anything you want to mount there with a 1/4-20 bolt.

Yeah, it's a bummer. I was considering moving my phone up there, but they're just charge ports, not data ports. They're a lot less useful than they could be. I have to use the two ports down by my shifter to connect devices. I haven't tried a USB hub down there yet to try and expand my device footprint. I have no idea how the sync system would even respond to that.

The ports under the climate control are Sync capable. If you want lossless audio, they are the only game. Seriously annoying.

They thought far enough had to give you away to power your GoPro, but not far enough ahead to understand those ports should be connected directly into the sync system. I’m gonna split the point.

they didn’t have a cactus grey toy when I made this but a few pebbles from the wife’s indoor plants and some epoxy and you’re good to go
