I bought my daily driver.. a red mazda cx-5 4 years ago... was in a hurry and regretted it ever since. I too have a 2024 on order and am seeing a lot of dealer stock for the 2023 models, but none of them are a match for what I really want in specs, color, options, etc. Wait for what you really want, especially for 1k savings....
Color is the first thing you see when you approach your Bronco. As you drive it the color of the hood will always be in your vision.
IMHO, get the color you want.

Wait. Your Bronco will be built soon enough and it will be exactly what you want. It’s really exciting to get your build week and share the milestones and anticipation with your build week cohorts. And then you get to the lot and see your bronco and “angels sing”. You can’t get that excitement with one already on the lot.
Duct tape the son of a bitch to a 10 ft 4x4 post and run him through a large wood chipper.

Thank you for that....I've decided to wait for mine. I'm in no rush actually. It was tempting though but the the salesman called me yesterday and said it sold. So now I don't even have to think about it.

It’s a good thing it sold. The temptation is gone.
I almost bought the “not exactly what I wanted” a few times while I waited for my build. Im glad I didn’t. Getting exactly what you want is with the wait.
