I'm looking at both the Wildtrak and Badlands. I don't like how plastic looks over time and starts turning gray. I was thinking of have the plastic painted Black on a Cyber Orange Bronco.

I have painted fenders for my JKUR and really like them and would like to have them on the Bronco also. of course it is a personal preference.

I have the painted flares on my wrangler. Don't like them and will not be getting painted flares on the bronco. The rear flares on my wrangler are in terrible shape from rock chips. Maybe some big mud flaps behind my front flares would have saved them but its too late to bother with that now. I would maybe consider color matched line-x or rhino liner or something like that but not normal paint if you do lots of gravel road driving..

This is my third wrangler (previous rigs both had painted flares). I keep the flares looking factory-new by spraying 303 Exterior Protectant once every few mos. No fade whatsoever and would highly recommend. I will do the same with the Bronco fenders as well.

I’m personally holding out for a set of carbon fiber flares and mirror caps. I think those will be awesome on all colors. If they do t make them soon enough, I might have to just make my own lol.

One of my first mods will be skinner flares and I may paint them to match the shadow black mod top if it doesn’t match that well... hopefully they just do

Yeah. I’ve used the carbon fiber wrap on some of the interior pieces in my focus ST... Still looks great and it’s about 5 years old. Price point may also dictate this decision as well ?
