Hopefully someone may have answered this already. I’m installing an AVS hood protector with lights. Is there a fuse in the under hood box that is not hot all the time. One that power will cut off when vehicle is off or timed cut off?

Seems the fuses stay hot after the vehicle is off and even sits awhile. If not can I tap a fuse in the body control module?

My favorite fuse is Fuse 22 in the engine bay.

It's intended for the 360 camera system, but if you don't have the High or Lux package, then it's unused. Only turns on when the vehicle itself is on.

But in this case I would probably just use an Aux switch.
