What Green color for 2022?

The only green I would even look at would be a re-do on Boxwood, nothing else would turn my head. Military colors have went on for at least a decade too long, let them die with fire. Unfortunately Ford will pull out Gem Green Metallic or Aspen Green or some ther god forsaken Ford Escort color.

Based on facts I just made up for this post, Ford will, in fact, be going with not the beautiful candy green (too expensive), but instead a deeper Oxford Green Metallic. Or at least i'm pretty sure that color will be in my garage when Bronco is delivered!

I had a lucid dream the other night where Ford announced that there will be not one but TWO green colors for '22.

One light green unique to the heritage trim and another dark green for those that don't want to pay 70K for a Bronco.

That Focus color looks fine on a hot hatch, not so much on a rugged boxy vehicle. But I will 100% take that second color with a little sparkle.

I'm all in for Candy Apple Kiwi Army Olive Sage Avocado Mint Emerald Spruce Grabber Monster Energy Green Metallic.

If you choose that color you’ll have to remove spare tire, fender flares, MIC roof, rear seats, and cup holders (if equipped =Two door) to remain under GVWR.

That escort is living proof of what Area 51 and the psudo military colors also done in "melted crayon" are going to look like in 10 years time.

When your paint choice so perfectly matches a fad that it cannot be unseen, you know you've got that melted crayon here in 2021 (and 2022).

Thanks to all who chimed in...Now how about the MIC top for a two-door. Does it have the twin roof panels over the front seats like the MOD does or is it a single panel or no panel. I never have been able to tell for sure from the photos in the email I got from Ford.

I saw the color in person at Filson. You might also be confusing Amazon's OLD color which was a standard color on offer at the time. Their corporate vehicles are now painted to their specification, which is not all that far off from A51.

There was also an Amazon delivery across the street while the Bronco was on the sidewalk. A chorus of laughter went up from the attendees at the event (no laughter from the Ford employees).

Some friends in their delivery logistics dept said there is watercooler talk that the electric fleet of vehicles will be in their "Prime Air" color scheme.

But for now, the color rolled out in late 2020 around here is much lighter than the 2018 color (and apparently cheaper, which is important in fleet vehicles). This is a fair representation to what i'm seeing on Seattle streets.

Amazon's 2018 corporate fleet vehicle color was darker and had less gloss:
