I like that setup, so not using the tape, can i take it on and off as i want without marking up stuff? I rather only have it installed when its needed for my handheld
You 'might' be able to...but it does snap in pretty tight.

I don't know if I'll keep all three ProClip mounting solutions on my rig(center dash, HD dashboard plate, and angled dash mounts), but the angled dash mount is where I prefer to mount my phone. If I'm going to utilize a handheld radio while on the trails I'll use the button/belt clip holder on the center dash mount that also has a provision to hold an action cam... the HD dashboard plate has a couple device mounting options for me to choose.

I mounted a belt clip to the bottom of the charging stand so that I move if needed. Also added two sided Velcro for additional security.

my midlands mxt275 is totally different story.

that great for charging, i like it. but i am more interested in something that i can access while driving the trails, i may do some cup holder set up. thats easily removable when not needed.

You may want it mounted close to the visor so that you can have a headset on while drive with push to talk on cord

I prefer using a portable handheld and made a custom mount that attaches to the picatinny rail. This particular portable GMRS radio can be charged off the built in USB port, and also has a handheld mic for convenient use while driving. As far a mounting, you just need to get creative to make it work for your rig.

Nice! I've got the same radio but I'm holding out for their dashboard mount and would like to connect to a mounted antenna.

Itā€™s a pretty sweet, (and amazingly clear) handheld radio. I too am interested in their dash mount but hadnā€™t seen a picture of it before now. (Is that it in the picture you posted?).
I too am going to connect a vehicle mounted antenna but not until it gets a bit warmer to work outside. šŸ˜

Yeah, itā€™s from one of their videos where they talk about having a vehicle-mounted antenna will increase the range. They also have it sitting on a table in one of their social media posts, so itā€™s gotta be close to being ready.

For a place to hang radios that are a little taller this has worked well for us.
This is a Yaesu FT60 and also fits the Wouxun KG935G series.
