Eco/Boost gauge:
0 = Eco ~20mpg
>0 = Boost < 20 mpg
>10 = 10+ Smiles per gallon

In all seriousness, it's the turbo boost gauge. Even in light footed driving, you should see it hit a couple of PSI during acceleration.

Stomp on your accelerator and see if you can get it to 16. If not, take it in to your dealer.
In all seriousness , what is the highest it would normally read during heavy acceleration on a 2.7 ? I've seen mine into the 23's a few times

Good question! I’ve only seen mine go to maybe 17 at sea level, accelerating on a flat road with no load (trailer, cargo, etc.).

I've seen mine go above 20 occasionally on steep grades with the pedal down to the floor. Briefly thought I was driving my old 6.7 Superduty, then realized the diesel clatter was missing!

Typically only see high teens when giving it Hell. I suspect outdoor temp has a lot to do with the amount of boost you'll get. I'll have to see if I can get it into the 20s here on flat ground now that the blast furnace is off.

20+ lbs of boost is pretty insane for a gasser.

It will go up and down as you drive. Sometimes (depends on how you drive), at zero when not accelerating. Measures pressure in the turbos as they spool up. If you can hear the turbos spooling up, the guage should be showing an increase in pressure. If they are not spooling up at that instant, then pressure will show zero.

Ya know, I'm not even sure I've looked down at the gauge while stomping the gas. Geez, now I need to wear my reading glasses while driving, texting, and checking out my boost gauge.

Finally looked at the gauge while driving. Ahhhhh...........I definitely am a light foot. I didn't see it boost much over 8 or so while accelerating, but the pony is still quick.
