Where is everyone getting 12v for an LC2i or higher?

Where is everyone getting 12v for an LC2i or higher? Can we just tap the 12v plug in the back or everyone using a add a fuse? If using the add a fuse which fuse are you using?

Not using the LC2i in my Bronco, but here is how I set it up in my Civic Si. Power distribution block to split the 12V coming direct from the battery. LC2i triggers the amp remote turn on through GTO.
