Okay, makes sense. As I read this I wondered why. Then I thought about how old hoods did a coil to lift . I assume factories left that for costs and weight savings. Once I guessed that I considered the tensile strength of tho hood they make. I now wonder if the pivot point where a non stock prop attaches on a long enough time line, will start to damage the hood.
