Had my doors off yesterday and coming down the mountain I was hearing this when letting off the throttle, goes away with throttle. Definately coming from front end so doesn't seem to be rear diff or a u-joint going bad. Monitoring myself for now, kind of sick of going to the dealer.

Did you ever find your issue regarding this? I am starting to hear a whine as well. When letting off and especially after its been warmed up. 11,000 on mine.

Nope, but I sold my Bronco around 13k.

No mine wasn’t so much a whine more than a rattle. Mine was mainly noticeable on cold start. Took to dealership and they claimed nothing could be found.

I sadly have not had great experiences with dealers either.
