Why is adding Sasquatch to Base cheaper vs. adding Sasquatch to BB?

I'm considering ordering another Bronco. When messing around with the build and price, why is it more $$$ to add SAS package to BB vs. a Base? Isn't it the same upgrade? Shouldn't BB actually be cheaper considering the standard wheels and tires are more expensive vs BASE and are built into the original price?

The online builder is kicking out the following to me:

To add Sasquatch to base is:
$5,790

To add Sasquatch to BB is:
$7,385

The Sasquatch package includes the cost of the automatic transmission.

The Base 4-door comes with the automatic transmission standard. The Big Bend does not... the manual transmission is standard. Which is why it costs $1595 more to add the Sasquatch package onto the Big Bend.

Ford b and p acting funny now but I used 2 door to ck pricing ..true that 4 door base is standard with auto

No, it’s the same cost.

Sasquatch package requires the advanced transfer case, which is a $795 upgrade from what comes standard on base.

the sas package goes down to 4995 when your dealer does the paper work but if you look the MSRP on the base goes up if you order the automatic trany

Thanks for the explanation, yes it is all tied to the transmission. The more and more I look at it, the Base Bronco w/ SAS is the best trim level out there. Especially for those that prefer to modify things like interior, lighting, side steps etc.

I believe 2021s required auto for sasquatch so if you were manual and added sasquatch in 21 it added the auto to price.. but in 2022 sas price went up but don't have to add auto anymore...so your correct
