Finally getting around to posting, here are some pics from July for our Bronco's first off-road outing.

We spent the weekend camping at Hollister Hills SVRA with some friends. I used to come here as a teenager with my buddies, so happy to pass the tradition down to my family. Overall the Wildtrack did great, started off with some blue squares and ended up on some decently sketchy black diamonds (lifted a tire once or twice).

A couple things I learned: 1, Stay out of the mudpit, my future self will appreciate not spending hours spraying of clumps of dirt from the undercarriage & engine bay. 2, Upgrade my VIAIR 85P air up/down system (which has since been solved with an onboard ARB dual compressor & MORRFlate quad hose kit). 3, Look into swaybar disconnects or shocks, still not sure about what I want to do here.

Even saw a few other Broncos while I was there. Overall lots of fun. Hoping to plan more trips soon!

- Bud

Love the roof rack, I have the a Wildtrak also and been looking for a good roof rack.

Is that the Trailrax one? How do you like it so far?

Great pics! It's been years since I've been there. Time for another trip.

Yep, Trailrax, I think it's one of the best looking options for the Bronco. It's super sturdy, though it does add a little wind noise on the highway, and some minor squeaking at lower speeds (I think it's just from the bars flexing).

I was able to fit my Thule Motion XT, but I had to remove 3 bars to make it fit. Eventually I plan to add some traction boards, rotopax, and maybe some roam boxes.

Nice build. I recently discovered putting a sprinkler under the vehicle for mud removal. Driveway is now a mess but the undercarriage looks great.

I just met the Morrflate crew (Jeremy and friends) on the backside of Big Bear. Went camping and 4 wheeling with them. They are super super knowledgeable about recovery and all around cool people.

I need to upgrade my Viaire system too.

Thanks! Yeah I was looking at the Boss links, had not seen the others. Which option do you think would preserve the on-road handling the best?
I'm probably partial to the Antirock's, cuz they're half the Carli price. Don't know much about the Walkers.

Ha, your sprinkler set up sounds pretty sweet!

Very cool about Morrflate team, definitely happy with their products so far. I bet Big Bear has some great trails too.

I love our Morrflate system, and use their compressor. I'm amazed by how many post that they want a sway disconnect.
