Finally getting around to posting, here are some pics from July for our Bronco's first off-road outing.
We spent the weekend camping at Hollister Hills SVRA with some friends. I used to come here as a teenager with my buddies, so happy to pass the tradition down to my family. Overall the Wildtrack did great, started off with some blue squares and ended up on some decently sketchy black diamonds (lifted a tire once or twice).
A couple things I learned: 1, Stay out of the mudpit, my future self will appreciate not spending hours spraying of clumps of dirt from the undercarriage & engine bay. 2, Upgrade my VIAIR 85P air up/down system (which has since been solved with an onboard ARB dual compressor & MORRFlate quad hose kit). 3, Look into swaybar disconnects or shocks, still not sure about what I want to do here.
Even saw a few other Broncos while I was there. Overall lots of fun. Hoping to plan more trips soon!
