Wildtrak grille replacement

Well tonight sucked. Took a baseball size rock through the grille and the backing trim on the highway tonight.

has anyone replaced a Wildtrak grille and the trim behind it yet?
Any ideas on the cost for the parts and how easy it is to DIY?

Very easy to replace. I hit a deer a few months ago and had to replace the grille, grille support and the radiator shutter grille.
The new grille from Ford won’t come painted, so you’ll need to have that done.

I think OEM price for the grille is somewhere around $600-700 and it only comes primed so it will need painting. I'm not sure what's needed for the pieces behind it though.

I found the stock Wildtrak grill part number, need to take a look at the grill supports and other trim pieces in day light to see what other casualties there were.

The Wildtrak grill is gloss black. Is that paint or is it molded in that color?

It’s painted, but a new one from ford will not come painted.

I know you said you have the grille part number, but here are some other numbers to help.

Grille: M2DZ-8200-EAPTM
Grille clips: W713407-S439 (You’ll need 2 packages)
Grille bracket: M2DZ-8A154-BA
Grille Letters: M2DZ-8A224-AAPTM

it's really super easy

like 4 bolts that are 10mm (your Bronco tool kit makes quick work of that), and 9 little push tab fasteners and it comes off with some pulling. (after you disconnect the camera wiring and washer hose of course). There's a few videos out there that explain it all.

I've taken my Wildtrak grill off twice. Once to put on the LED lights, and once to put on a white grill.

The issue with OEM grill is going to be the letters. This might be your chance to change out to lit letters or go with an aftermarket grill if you'd like.

The Wildtrak grill that comes from the factory on your new Bronco is molded in color (lgoss black for WT/FE). The Wildtrak/Badlands/FE grill that you purchase through parts is unfinished black. It has to be painted to match.

Agreed. I want to paint my Badlands grille gloss black. Dealer will not do it. There's a thread on here describing another memeber's issues with trying to paint the molded in color Badlands grille. I purhased the front camera bracket. I will paint it to match whatever grille/color I go with (gloss, satin, or matte balck).
