Yeah any built with it should still have it, at least for now. However, It is possible that any DDM/PDM update in the future would remove that.

@RagnarKon I’d be curious to see if yours shows another update available now. Maybe next time you’re in FDRS you can check just out of curiosity.
Heh, that was my first thought.

I don't have a Windows laptop at the moment—sold it so I could preorder a new laptop with an anti-glare screen—but once the new one arrives I'll take a look.

By the way you're about to get blasted by mentions—going back through and editing all of my posts with that video—sorry ahead of time.

---

Also for @Fordsoldier... here is how you used to get the feature. Obviously no longer valid.

Just checked the door sticker: Date 01/24

What are your lock settings?
Mine:
Auto unlock - enabled
Mislock Chirp - enabled
Switch Inhibit -disabled (whatever that is)
Audible feedback - enabled
Remote unlock - set to all doors

Also , just checked no updates for vehicle, so I'll assume I'm up to date

It wouldn’t be an OTA update. The update would need to be done with FDRS right now.
Not all updates are available as OTA

So the ddm and pdm are no longer available?

Would the dealership be able to do this? I have to go in for my tow package next week

This makes no sense, someone with a 2023 build date doesn't have it, someone with 4/24 build date doesn't have it, and I have a 1/24 date and I have it.

And why would Ford remove this feature?

I asked about settings, because I suspect it's the unlock all doors setting.

The DDM and PDM are still there... they are physical electronic control modules that control the door locks/windows.

The software update for the DDM and PDM that added the "nudge down" functionality was pulled by Ford and is no longer available for installation. A dealer could install it if the software update was available, but it is no longer available.

And why would Ford remove this fearure?
They ran into a software issue related to the update, so they removed the update until they can resolve the issue (or perhaps they removed it permanently, we don't know). @Ducati1098 posted the details Ford provided to dealers in this post:

The post with the 23 was built before the feature was ever available (it was a mid-year change, 7/12/2023 and up was built with it)

Yours was built with it, so it still has it.. for now.

The newer 24 likely wasn’t built with it because of the issues it has been causing.

My settings are to unlock the driver's door.
Hence, when I click the unlock on the fob, my driver's door unlocks and the window cracks. If I double click it, the passenger door also unlocks and cracks the window.

Thanks,
This is nuts, and it's crazy that they can't sort it out, but really weird that some people have it and may or may not experience any issues - or at least not enough for Ford to send me a recall .

Yeah it’s definitely ridiculous that they can’t seem to figure out a simple programming feature.
It would never end up being a recall, as it isn’t safety related.
I’m guessing they’ll eventually figure it out, but right now they’re clearly struggling

Ok guys help me out, my wifes 23 badland windows drop about 1/2" when you unlock. I like this feature. My 24 wildtrak does not do this. Is this a program issue or something else.

Help a newb out
My August 2023 BD build has the fob window drop feature.

Ummmmm,

The 2024s go down when you hit the unlock on the fob and when you have the fob in your pocket and you put your hand on the door handle

at least mine does
That’s the exact best way it should have worked from the beginning. I hope my August ‘24 Heritage build has that functionality.
