I optioned mine with an engine block heater and I’m in LA. I try to take a trip to the snow once a year, and for the price, I optioned mine with it. Overkill? Yes, but personally, I don’t really care. I’d rather have it just in case. I was looking under my hood yesterday and was like “what’s this?” It was the engine block heater plug haha.
