Windshield Tint issue-Auto headlights

Did a 70% windshield tint….almost clear. Now my auto headlights come on middle of day…..almost all the time except full bright sun. I‘m guess the( UV?) sensor on center dash. Any way to adjust this. Forscan, new sensor.

Honestly that's weird because I have 30 or 40% percent on my windshield and haven't noticed my headlights coming on in the day, just a bit earlier than usual in the evenings.

Could always just NOT set headlight knob to auto…

There’s no way to adjust it. You can take the tinted cover off the sensor, but I have no idea how it will react without it. Not much else you can do

Do a search - someone on here was 3d printing clear sensor covers for that very reason.

Does it also affect the auto dimming? or is that a separate sensor somewhere else?

Oh man! I was going to take mine in this week for this! Didn’t affect my wife’s Palisade when we did hers.
