New to the "off-road" vehicles here, been driving SUV's all my life and have always put on snow tires on my vehicles. My commute to work is around 7-10 minutes door to door, depending on if the traffic lights hate me or not. Just wondering everyones thoughts on if I should keep my OEM tires for winter or upgrade to "better tires".

I've ordered the 2dr/2.3L/Black Diamond/MIC/Sas package

Let me know all your plans :)

Really depends on your winter driving conditions.

I'll swap out for Nokian Hakkapeliitta Lt3 studded 315/70R17 on my Sasquatch package Bronco for half the year.

One more time.

No one is ever going to get great winter performance out of a 315 on this vehicle.
No one is ever going to get great winter performance out of a all terrain, all season, or mud tire.

If you really value the best, you must get a narrower dedicated snow tire.
There is nothing else even close.

I run dedicated snow tires on everything, in sizes varying from 235/75R15 to 285/50R22 w/many sizes in between and get GREAT performance out of them. I typically run Blizzaks, but have studded Coopers on a couple vehicles.

A dedicated snow tire in any size will out perform a A/T or all season everyday of the week.

100% agree, nothing compares to a dedicated snow tire..I live in northern ny and my driveway is steep and icy..my last two cars an 19’ Outback w Michelin X-ice, my current car 2021 Volvo XC40 w Blizzaks will climb that hill like a cat on carpet, My Tacoma w Wildpeak AT 3/w in 4x4 struggles and squirrels it’s way up.

good to know - I think for the first winter (or part of it anyways) im gonna see how the OEM tires handle. worst case scenario i get steelies and smaller 17" tires for the winter since i work in parts at a dealership and get good prices on that stuff
