Hey guys. I wanted to reach out to those folks that deal in these sorts of modification/fabrication things we do to our trucks.
I picked up this winch plate last summer for $150. It needed the sensor holes drilled out, so I preceded to lay it out and drill them, except I centered them based on the inside dimensions instead of the outside. I only drilled as big as the step drill I had at the time.
Now, looking at how big the plastic clips are that hold the sensors in place, I'm way off centered from where I need to be.
What's the best way to correct that? To re-center where I want my 1" hole?
Thanks in advance for any useful advice.
The red ring is the outside of the plastic clip that holds the sensor, the black is where the hole should be, and the hole is in the wrong spot.
