Had a local rich kid that ordered or should I say his dad ordered him a race ready lemans set up Porsche right from factory. Only problem was it was set up for racing. Racing seats and interior were uncomfortable and the gearing was set up for a race track was sold about 6 months later. A fool and his money. But I would gladly park that next to my bronco.

There is a corvette parts company in fl that used to have an annual party where they hung a Porsche from a big tree and people dressed like superheros and took bats and crowbar to it .

Wtf? Branch probably broke and Porsche fell on someone so they stopped . Pretty Stupid idea all around, especially the dressing as superhero’s part.

But that's only because my house was built in 1959 and my Bronco doesn't fir in it. The Bronco would have to stay outside.

It's very difficult to know Porsche colors just from an image as they always have thr historic color pallet available (for a hefty price). I had considered Jet Metallic Green for repainting my '51 but it wasn't dark enough.

My guess based on the model is Porsche Racing Green as that was a standard (up-charge) option for the RS cup cars..my.. And that I've seen quite a few pics of that car during my Green search.

Here are some great classic Porsche colors with their names/codes.



In the end I blended a custom color, but looking back I should have just gone with Jaguar Racing Metallic Green as it's beautiful and easy to color match.
