I haven't been in 15+ years. Hope you enjoyed! We grew up going on a whim as a family for the weekend. A lot more people get to see the park than in the past, and I suppose that's good if it means they get their eyes opened to conservation and the outdoors. I certainly miss the ease of access, though.

Yosemite is an awesome place to visit. I have been many times as it is magical.Lived in Central Ca my whole life and it seems criminal I’ve only been to Yosemite 3 timesWas there the last couple days, water everywhere and the Merced River is Angry!
What a great picture! Can't believe the volume of water coming off of Yosemite Falls.
A great trek is on the Tioga Pass to Mono lake. Many great views. Would suggest camping out at Yosemite Creek campground if you have time. If you reach Lee Vining. Mono Lake, head north and visit Bodie gold-mining ghost town. Best preserved ghost town in the west. Lots of dusty trails to drive.
Picture of the same Yosemite Falls from bottom & top when the Yosemite Creek was just trickling. I have never seen so much water streaming across the falls in your picture. Great shot!

Yosemite National Park was great before Queen Elizabeth visited there. Then the Queen said everyone in the world should visit Yosemite National Park; it hasn't been the same since then.
Can't be worse than the 3.2 beer I grew up on from Oklahoma.
