Although this is for the Toyotas I thought it was extremely well done and explains a ton about what an UCA does and how. Very relevant to our Broncos and the IFS.
It seems the Toyota is pretty limited at the extremes by the body, we are very fortunate that Ford knew the Broncos would be modified to the extreme and made the wheel openings as big as possible. So we have less to worry about hitting the body but knowing how the alignment and placement of the suspension works makes accommodating the larger wheels/tires easier.
Do you always need an aftermarket UCA? Not always but they sure look cool.
