I’m posting this from a coffee shop in Johnson City TN as I’m about to head into the Unaka Wilderness, reflecting on an awesome 2025 year of Bronco adventures:

From OHV trails at Coalmont to camping in from Nashville, to the Ozarks, Kansas, and finally Colorado for excursions into Rocky Mountain National Park, the Great Sand Dunes, Taos, Tucumcari, Palo Duro Canyon and more, we took this rig all over as a family. Got extra super duper stuck in deep mud once.

Would do again. Will do again. Post yours!

You had an excellent year wheeling I must say.

My most exciting trip was on the Rubicon this year when I broke a tierod, but fear not had all the tools and parts and was back under way in about twenty minuets.

Oooh I’ve been packing a spare set of tie rods just in case. I need to probably read up on what you need to do to repair trail side… 😬

This guy saved my bacon one fateful day (when I went on an unplanned excursion waiting for a pizza place to open in Viola TN):

The reason for the outer was my fault I had just had the Icon installed and the 1 inch space were still on and the tread caught my rock slider and snapped the the rod in two spots. Removed the spacers all good.

Thanks. If I have this right, the outer tie rod end was collateral damage after the inner tie rod broke.

Big year for me, doing the bucket list trip, the Trans Taiga across northern Quebec...
These vids are as much of a music journey as they were a travel doc...
All original, kick-ass songs!

And the follow-up episode....

Here are the big ones for Best Slope Bronco.

Moab BYOB "Next Level Off Road"

Hell's Gate:

Black Bear Pass:

I haven't gotten around to processing videos for everything. Did another Poughkeepsie Gulch run to try to tackle the Wall, but that didn't pan out. Found a cool trail called Tabeguache near Grand Junction.

It's been a good year for Bronco-ing.

It was a really good year for me and my “Little Mule” up until life happened. In October, after 3 years of mild mods, road trips, I had to find a way to cut some expenses. Had two vehicles, one of which had to go to cut expenses. While hoping it would be the one, it turned out someone , a really nice couple, had been looking for some time for a Bronco and my Little Mule was exactly what they wanted. I had to let it go. I am sad and think of it often but just feeling that it went to a good home makes me feel better. It seemed to hang out at the stables more than the road but I hope they have many wonderful adventures in that beautiful Cactus Gray BB Sasquatch!
